| The hidden village of Konoha is the the largest and most power village of all. It is the home village to our hero Naruto, and it seems like all the good guys live in Konoha and the rest is evil. Konoha means leaf, and in case you didn't know the symbol is a leaf. The Hokage is said to be the strongest of all the kages.

| Several of the characters are from the hidden village of Sand. To name a few of the characters from Sand, we have Gaara, Kankuro, and Temari. These three went to Konoha to take the Chuunin exam, which was only a cover for their real plan. The Kazakage is Gaara, Kankuro, and Temari's father, and he was assasinated by Orochimaru. The Kazakage also attempted to kill his own son Gaara serveral times.

| Not too much is known about the hidden village of Mist. We've seen quite a few candidates from the Chuunin exam show up from the village of mist. We also saw the exiled ninjas Zabuza and Kisame, which are from the hidden village of mist. The ninjas from this village seem to use water attacks a lot. There's no information at the moment about the Mizukage.

| The country and hidden village of sound is created and lead by Orochimaru. It's a relatively small country, but it's forces can't be considered weak. Orochimaru is a legendary Sannin, he's extremely powerful. Orochimaru killed the third Hokage and almost suceeded in destroying Konoha. He is also after Sasuke for his Sharingan. We've seen serveral sound ninjas in the Chuunin exam, including Kabuto disguised as a Konoha ninja.

| There's nothing about this village available right now, I don't even know if I recall seeing any of these ninjas before. Lets hope we see some of these guys in action soon.

| Next to nothing is known about the village of cloud at the moment. The only information about these guys is from the flashback about Hinata's kidnapping. When the country of Lightning broke the peace treaty and tried to steal the secrets of Byakugan. Nothing is known about the Raikage.

| The clan itself is known for their ties to fire. For a clan ninja to be seen as an adult, they must be able to utilize a Katon (Fire Element) jutsu such as Goukakyuu no Jutsu. Thus is the tie between the manipulation of fire and the mind of an Uchiha member.

| The clan uses this ability in conjunction with their own chakra creating the Juuken (gentle fist) fighting style. The clan member can use their fingers or palms to emit chakra to flow into their opponents body's at the tenketsu points. When the hand draws close enough to strike, the clan member can stop or increase their opponent’s chakra flow. The internal chakra coils which spread throughout the body also wrap around the internal chakra producing organs. So if the internal coils are attacked, it also damages these internal organs. Because a ninja can not train their internal body, such damage can be a critical hit for even a highly skilled ninja. The tenketsu serve as the connectors and exit points for the chakra pathways. So when they are stopped by the Hyuuga clan member, the ninja greatly loses his or her ability to utilize their chakra for jutsu.

| Rinnegan is the blood inheritance limit of Rikudou Sennin (Six Realms Sage) and his descendants. Rikudou Sennin was viewed as the original shinobi and his Doujutsu was regarded as the most venerable of the three great Doujutsu. As the original shinobi it was said he created modern Ninjutsu. The Rinnegan was regarded as a god of creation when the world was racked with chaos and as a weapon of destruction which could return everything to nothingness. Usage of the Rinnegan was said to give the user mastery over all six forms of chakra nature manipulation.

| This clan from Konoha Village is known for its ties to the canine species. Many members have a canine familiar who acts as a partner to the clan member. Also clan members can use jutsus to take on canine-like abilities.

| The Kaguya clan hailed from Hidden Mist and they were known for their love of battle. They foolishly decided to challenge their home country and they were all wiped out save for Kimimaro. This clan has the ability to manipulate their bone structure, this ability is called Shikotsu Myaku (Corpse Bone Pathways). They can remove their bones at will to create weapons as strong as steel and also use their abilty to spurn the creation of new bones.

| This clan from Konoha Village is known for its ability to manipulate their shadow. Utilizing this ability the clan member can attach their shadow to the shadow of another individual, and then take control of the user. Resulting in the affected person replicating or "shadowing" the exact movements in mirror form of the clan member.

| Senju (Thousand Arms) of the Forest were one of the founding clans of Konoha. Under Senju Hashirama, they allied with other clans including the Uchiha, to found the Fire Country's ninja village. It is unknown if Senju retains a clan structure in the current Konoha. Tsunade is the only known living descendant of founding clan of Konoha.

| Twice every year, a test called the The Chuunin Exams held. This is the exam you must pass if you are to become a Middle Ninja. It's a 3 part test, and held for lower ninjas from any village. If you wish to enter you must have completed a minimum of 8 missions, and given the "OK" from your instructor.

| The Jounin exam is like the Chuunin exam, except you do not have your teammates to assist you. It is much more difficult, but does not have a written exam.What to expect? You will be forced to perform a certain jutsu(which can be any stat of your examiners choice). You must perform a difficult mission, and end it with a tournament. Only 4 Jounin are Chosen every exam......

| The most difficult exam places you in War-Games. But these are VERY dangerous. You usually are placed in a squad and must show great survival skills. You stealth is tested, as well as your assassination abilities. Come to the exam with all your weapons/items.

| Naruto Uzumaki's and Iruka Umino's favorite place to eat. The Ichiraku Ramen Bar is run by Teuchi and his daughter Ayame. The two seem to be some of the few civilian villagers of Konoha to not see Naruto in a hostile light, and consider him their favorite regular.

| The ANBU is actually short for Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai, and is an organization of assassination squads that serves directly under the village's leader. The ANBU wear porcelain animal masks in order to distinguish themselves from normal shinobi and to conceal their identities, and also have standard uniforms consisting of black and gray armor, arm guards, a signature spiral tattoo on their left shoulder and a Ninjatō strapped on their back. They know the layout of the human body in detail, and have developed several techniques to perform their duties, such as paralyzing the target. ANBU are considered the elite, and they perform high-ranked and dangerous missions. Within the ANBU of Kirigakure,and presumably other ninja villages there exists a sub-group called Hunter-nin.

| Hunter-nin are given the specific duty of hunting down missing-nin, and destroying their bodies, so their village's secrets won't be revealed to foreign ninja.
